NEW DELHI: A suspected member of the terror group al Qaeda has been arrested in in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal, police said on Wednesday.
The man, identified as Jafar Masood, is the third operative of the terror outfit arrested in India this week.
Police had also earlier arrested two others - Abdul Rahman from Odisha's Cuttack and Mohammad Asif from Delhi.
The suspected terror operative arrested from Uttar Pradesh is likely to be produced in a Delhi court today.
