Mount.
Around 8 a.m., train number 2 ran from Officers ' Training Academy to Little Mount.
According
to officials of Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL), the trials that
started on Friday will continue every day. Four stations – Officers '
Training Academy, Alandur, Guindy and Little Mount – were covered during
the trials.
“We will further continue and extend the
trial run from Officers ' Training Academy to Chennai airport next
month and then from Alandur to St. Thomas Mount,” an official said.
The trials will continue till the service is launched between Little Mount and Chennai airport in 2016.
