Palestinian president orders probe into shrine torching

   Ramallah, Oct. 16 (BNA): Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has ordered the immediate formation of a special committee to probe into the torching of Joseph's shrine in Nabuls earlier today, directing to repair the damage resulting from the "irresponsible" and "deplorable" act.


He reiterated categorical rejection of such "illegal actions which cause harm to our culture, religion and morals."

He called on the competent sides to repair the tomb and submit a report on the circumstances of the act as soon as possible.
