Al-Falih Signs MOU with a Specialized Company to Construct a National Factory for Blood Plasma Products

His Excellency the Minister of Health,
Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, has lauded the unstinting support
granted by the Saudi Government, under the leadership of the Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, to the health sector. In
a press statement he made upon signing a memorandum of understanding
(MOU) with a specialized company to construct a national factory for
blood plasma products, Al-Falih highlighted that this MOU reflects the
keen interest shown by the wise leadership in the health sector, and
provision of health care for the noble citizens.
Within the same vein, Al-Falih pointed
out that this MOU comes in line with the gracious Royal Directives,
prioritizing the localization of blood plasma products industry. Hence, a
state-of-the-art factory is to be built in an endeavor to promote the
national drug safety. He also indicated that this project will
contribute, Allah willing, to honing skills of health workers dealing
with the blood products, as well as achieving technology transfer in
this vital area.
Finally, Al-Falih has extended his thanks to the Public Investment Fund
(PIF), for supporting this national project, meanwhile praying for
Allah Almighty to attain the desired objectives of this project.
